Specialised centres

A specialised centre needs a longer path, not a second product edition.

01
The problem

Where the day breaks

A specialised centre has a longer path: referral, preparation, a procedure or a session, then follow-up. Teams often look for a second product edition named after the specialty. That edition does not exist as a separate system. What exists is a longer sequence, different rooms, and equipment that may or may not be connected.

02
The idea

What we actually install

The product stays one. Permissions, enabled modules and the length of the path are what change. A session or a procedure is still a visit that must not be retyped at billing. Follow-up after the session stays outside the record unless a clinician opens it.

03
How it is implemented

The operating sequence

Configuration follows the actual rooms. Optional laboratory or insurance layers stay off until they are in the contract. Device connections are scoped, not promised from a catalogue.

  1. The path is modelled as visits and waiting, not as a specialty brand.
  2. Permissions keep preparation, the procedure and billing on separate desks.
  3. Optional modules are enabled only when the contract says so.
  4. A device is connected when the organisation has agreed that work, not because the page listed it.
  5. Follow-up after the session does not open the record by default.

What we do not promise

A boundary we keep

We do not promise that every medical device is connected and ready from a catalogue. A longer path is configuration, not a second Elite Care.
