She is at the door. She paid ten minutes ago, and the visit either did not happen or happened and she does not think it was worth it. The employee wants the moment over because the queue is standing there. She hands the cash back from the drawer and removes the line. The drawer balances. The visit vanishes, or stays without an invoice, and a week later nobody can explain why the name exists with no amount.

A refund is a reason, an amount, and a movement

Even when the amount is small and the person is upset, the refund is written: the original invoice, the amount, the method, and the reason in one short line, not a speech. If it goes back as cash, the drawer drops. If it goes back to the card, the transaction stays until it completes. The visit remains, with a state that collection was reversed, in full or in part.

Elite Care runs that movement from the same invoice, the same day. Reception receives the request. Financial approval follows the organisation’s rule, not whoever was closest to the drawer. The manager can see refunds, and can see the same line repeating, without opening the person’s file.

Speed at the door matters. The kind of speed that deletes the line is what makes you retell the story from memory, and memory at the door is bad.
